Greenbrier control is difficult regardless of the methods or herbicides used. Apply Weedmaster (2,4-D + dicamba) in May as either a spot or broadcast treatment. Use a 2% solution for spot application and 2 qts/A for broadcast. Add 0.5% nonionic surfactant. Later treatments are less effective because the waxy layer on the leaves matures and thickens as the growing season progresses. Follow-up applications when regrowth appears are essential.
