Hemp Dogbane
Surmount at 3 to 6 pt/A is the best treatment we have found for hemp dogbane. Apply when the weeds are 18 to 24 inches tall. Add 0.25% nonionic surfactant. In areas where picloram cannot be used, apply 2 qt/A Weedmaster + 1 oz/A metsulfuron 60 DF plus 0.25% nonionic surfactant. Or, apply metsulfuron 60 DF at 1 ounce of product per acre plus 0.25% nonionic -surfactant. -Follow up next spring to control escapes.
